Best thing to do is just sell the tmaxx and buy an emaxx or erevo.

Castle Neu 1520 on 6S LiPo Powered Gmaxx (Nitro Killer)
Predator with OS .21TM
Supermaxx with Mach .26
Revo with OS .18TZ
Kyosho ST-RR Conversion
Ofna CR with Tekin ESC/Motor (2)

+1 on this... honestly I think that selling off the tmaxx, and buying an erevo roller would be the best bet. If will hadle brushless better, and you do not have to fool with mech brakes. I build a brushless tmaxx a long time ago, and it sucked, bad balance with the motor on one side, and no room for lipos. I had to build everytrhing, and in the end it was just a bunch of work. You could buy a new emaxx chassi/tranny/ and center driveshafts for it, but most likely selling it complete is a better idea.

The MMM combo is your best bet. You can get them for around 270, which is a great deal. If you buy a MM, and mod it, and buy an external bec, and then an xl or medusa motor you have spent more than the combo...

well first i just want to say thanks for everyone that took time to respond, now after reading i have so many ideas my heads spinning,LOL.but that's what i wanted some good feedback.couple options from all this i am coming up with is get the MM2200 combo this way i know i will have no heat or power problem, just a big price.and put this on and see how it runs with my 3s,most of my batts are 3s 25 c up to 4500mah i have smaller mah one i can always parallel or series them .if i do not like it i can put the nitro stuff back on it and sell it as a nitro tmaxx my truck has bout 1 1/2 gal threw it so its still fresh, and buy the emaxx roller and switch the esc and motor over to that,or as takedown said i have other options with the motor esc,but i still have to think of the drive line and as it was mentioned the diff will not hold up with the t.as i type this i am still kicking myself for getting nitro in the first place ,since the last few years i have been flying brushless and would never go back gas with the planes,as i love the power and simplicity of the electric, should have bought emaxx roller and built up from there, hindsight.my neighbor wanted to get into the plane hobby with me and just could not get the flying down so i buddyboxxed with him and still had no feel,so his idea was to get some cars which led to the LHS and left with a 1,000 bill and 2 tmaxx nitros, which neither of us has the time for, even buying a new emaxx i still would have to pull new motors and esc and replace for bruchless to use my lipo so a roller would have been the ticket,500 lesson learned LOL its just money.so thanks again ,i will step back and reread the psot and make somekind of thought out decision

Ron

ps,anyone want an tmaxx, LOL
