I'd recommend building the 8ight. If not that, then I highly suggest the Savage Flux as an awesome basher with serious speed potential.

I agree that the 8 buggy will be a good setup for dirt roads and the like, and be quite cool looking with a corr body. If you need clearance stepping up to a monster truck will be the best bet as they have the most clearance... I generally prefer MT to a truggy, but that is just me. A truggy will most likely be the best bet if you want more clearance than a buggy but still want it to handle well at the speeds you indicate. A revo (any type) will not be strong enough... Go with a top name truggy, and you will easily find parts on the bay (you are a whore!).

Ty guys for the feedback. I did some reading last night and am not to keen on the 1/10 e-revo. I dont think it suits my needs. I am going to start hunting for parts for the 8ight I think. I hear they are pretty durable.

Can I put 8ight truck tires on the 8ight just for a bit more clearance or will that not work due to stability reasons or other stuff. Sorry if this is a stupid question.
