A project like this could really take off when hpi releases the savage 5t parts, then u can get ur hands on some 24mm wheel hubs, also New Era has a chevy pickup body for their H4x4 conversion which is 5th scale.

I was searching for info on this subject

7.5" center driveshafts
20.5 wheel base
16 wide
33 long

Feigao xl motor
temporary Mambamax
58 Spur 21 pinion 32 pitch

12 cell 4500 Nimh or my 11.1 3S lipo 2250

Locked diffs
All 4 Tires Burnout and has lots of torque up to 10mph
estimate 25mph top speed

I'm trying to decide what battery and esc ???

MMM, 4s lipo (2x 2) for use with ~2000kv lipo, 6s (2x 3s) for ~1600kv. Assuming you are after ~40mph topspeed.

If you are after maximum topspeed possible, the MMM motor would be good on 6s lipo, but a feigao XL motor in the ~2700kv range would make it fly on 4-6s lipo too (speed runs only). Lots of possible setups, depends on your budget and ultimate aim really...

Hey Thank u suicideneil
to clarify- the higher the Kv the more torque ??
I still have yet to figure out what continuous amperage and burst to use-What battery, how to decide ?

The temp Feigao motor is 2383 kv
I built mostly because I lost my job and needed another build.
The build was mostly from spare parts
BUt now I have a Product "Forword Twin stick" to bring to the market for the Toyota Dual transfer case trucks and sell.
When I start making some money and sell some auto trannies I be able to buy some power.
When I get my normal Job back (Network Administrator) I will be able to afford what ever ! 8S 10S Lipo, MGM ESC, Neu 1512 motor , and so on
I figure for now buy a MMM and two 3s lipo's

I want 60mph

It's a blast to drive, especially on slick asphalt
