Check and ensure your servo saver splines are not stripped.

Could the CVDs on the outdrives be binding? If they are worn with a lot of play they could be binding. This can also effect the performanc of the suspension.

I had a similar binding issue with my 8B steering and realized that the arm that attaches to the servo (pictured below) would bind with the top of the servo case when I tightened the screw. I just dremeled a bit off for clearance and no more binding. I hope one of us gets you an answer. Good luck.
