Tekno Neu is awesome but I think to much for the track. Last week I threw on my new bowties and hit up a very soft baseball field and all it wanted to do is wheelie! I'm gonna put my neu in a Maxx and want something with a bit less torque but that will still run cool. As I said this is kinda geared towards racing and I will never gear it for more than 40. Is the 60 enough or just get the 70?
Just get the 70....I run 60 in my buggy and it's ok in a 8-9lbs buggy. Most here agree on the 70 for anything over 9lbs. Some might even tell you 80mm!

Including my heavy lipos and 40 series tires with soaked foams (a pound or two each with the water in them) my Muggy is very heavy, probably 16 pounds or more, and with a 16T pinion the 80mm pushes it around like it was nothing. If you really want the 80mm go for it, but even in a really heavy Truggy it's extremely powerful.

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.
