my main issue with the slash diff is that the weight of it is supported by the output shafts, and not by the diff cup. alot of traxxas' designs are like this, and it causes the wobbling issue and premature wear. i would like to see a design more like an 1/8 diff, scaled down a bit, with the cup /case supported byy bearings. this would require the tranny case resigned to accept larger bearings, and a completely cusom diff, internals and outputs. not sure if flm would make that, but i would definately buy a handful of them. they already have the tranny case, so altering it to allow for larger bearings would not be too bad. making the cup with the gear on the outside, and finding suitable internals would be more work, and i am sure that they would have to be custom made...
