In a rustler/sidewinder and a crt.5/mamba max. I didn't have any other receivers to try. Well, I had 5, but they are all the same type/model of Rx. They were just advertised as 'Low ESR' by my local electronics store (

I ended up sending it in to be looked at/repaired and got it back saying there was no problem with it.
