What's wrong with a 3300kv medusa? 50mm is more than capable and it's available in 1/8" or 5mm shafts. You can make up for the 200kv loss with gearing

I'm actually running that very medusa motor rite now. I don't like that it's meant for Air use and has allot of open holes. Yes I did seal it and it's been fine but would be nice to have an offroad motor from the get go. My other complaint is that im on my second set of bearings and these are getting noisy also.

I agree we need a sealed 1/10th offroad motor that can handle some weight.

I agree, those motors are great. I personally was shooting for something with a kv range from 2500-4000 (good for 3s and 4s), are slightly longer (~60mm) to tolerate less-than-ideal gearing better, and are inexpensive. The Medusas are nice and are a good value for what you get, but at over 100, it would be nice to have a ~$60-$75 option that is supported state-side.
