I got some new info, from the pages of the mini e-revo. Not sure on tire diameter, but the wheels are 2" and run on 12mm hexxes, the VXL 380 motor is 4000KV, and there will be a center diff. Persoanlly, I'd be tempted to run bandit rear tires for racing

that all sounds sweet. I like how they didn't make the motor a million kv. 12mm hexes are really nice. Now we can run 1/10th onroad tires and most tenth scale tires.

I'd be temper to run 10th scale truck gladiators.

I will try to mount up some kyosho rb5 rears on the slash when I get one. I have lots of spares from my 10th scale buggies.

Looks like some crt.5 stock wheels and 2.2 buggy bowties would be a cool combo..

If at all possible, when ever some1 got one of these, it'd be cool to se if the vxl could be swapped out for a mamba ccmsXX00 series motor and mamba max esc, then try mambas new stupid fast 9000!

I'd be curious to see the price... At $250 it would be a bargan... I know i said earlier that it seemed a bit steep, but now it doesn't seem so bad. Now that i look at it closer. I'd love to sell the 18 for one...

personally, i'd like to have seen a 3500kv or lower(maybe 3000kv), but 4000kv beats the high winding motors that dominate the mini world

A <3000kV would work with 4S, I hope the motors I'm having in mind will fit :D

How big are the battery compartments on these things? Anyone have any idea on what size pack can fit? Just curious if I already have something that would fit or I would need to by something specifically for this.

Keep in mind that if you do already have some packs that would fit it, that they either need to have the trx hc connector or youd have to modify one or the other plugs. As far as battery packs go though I think anything close to a 6s NiMH pack would work since thats what the traxxas pack looks like. Still think it'd be cool to get one and toss in a CCMS9000 if it would fit, may have to get one of these and try it out.

4000 should be fine for 2s-3s lipos. I agree that they made a good choice in not going crazy with the kv ratings. I'm definitely excited to see these things in action.
