My conversion will be ready in a few weeks. It isn't just a motor mount, but rather a complete kit that will be transform the car to an E-machine rather than simply convert it. :)

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Oh Yeah! Mike, please, please, please post some pictures. Just a few, please. I loved to be teased. Even an AutoCad drawing would be good.

Appreciate the update Mike. Will it be available as a motor mount only to those that has all other necessary parts?

Thanks

Just out of curiosity, where did you get that release date from that you are doing a countdown on?

Perhaps you should raise the bar a little and try not sounding like a 12yo ;) I have certainly asked for updates in the past but cut the man some slack - this is a little over the edge...

Just having some fun. Mike actually promised in an 11-22-09 post that they would "be ready in a week." You can always complain to the moderators, maybe they will remove my posts. Here RC-Monster, we are irreverent and light hearted. Best not to take yourself too seriously or take offense too easily. Remember, Linc lies in wait!

Sorry, been gone a few days and couldn't do the countdown. Five more days. In the mean time, I'm selling my 5T engine, check out the FS forum here.

Talked to Dan at Kershaw. He's going to offer 4mm mounting plates for the 2200 series Neu's. From what he described, it still doesn't sound like the best system. I'll wait for Mike's (5 days!). The mount he makes looks beefy as all get out.

Wow, what a mount, that thing must be bulletproof with that ultra strong jackshaft and uber plastic spur gear. Got to be the best thing dor 5th scale since tires!

Well at least they put some plastic in there to attach to the chassis braces. I always get a kick out of their battery "stops", its a small screw not even half the height of the battery with what looks like rubber fuel line on it.
