Thanks for your replies. I'm new to this forum thing. I don't even have my new emaxx yet and i'm upgrading shocks!!!! I love it!!! Anyway, yes there is a 2 hole "b" piston installed when new. And no, I did not take the shock apart, just followed the instructions to the letter. This bypass shock as far as i can tell just has a wider cylinder and holds more oil. very little resistance when compressed. I sent an email to proline for an answer too. Thanks for all your help, I'm sure I'll have more when I start bashing the emaxx.
