You do realize that the bearings are different than normal 8th scale CDs right? IIRC, they are 1mm smaller in diameter than a normal CD if that makes any difference.

yeah, ls10 is 10th scale. I modded an mgt spur to the ls10's slipper and had to lock it tight. I'm just thinking my drivetrain will thank me for a center diff. E-bay isn't helping. Somebody throw an outrunner in your crt .5 and sell me the center diff!!

Offer someone a suitable outrunner (and the stuff to make it hook up) and you might have better luck.
