Is 14mm enough?

I used to run 17mm hex's on 17mm stock savage x tires. Then i got the new tires, and the seller (takedown) included some 14mm hex's with them. Problem is that they are not large enough (in diamiter) to fit on the sav axels. I cannot drill things out to save my life. Other then that and the fact that i need wheel nuts, and I don't know if they will last, I should be good.

Finnster, i would be interested. as long as you're sure that they are large enough to fit. Got any wheel nuts by chance?
