There are no 52T spurs that I know of. Get an RC-M pinion and you won't have a problem with stripping. They're cheaper than they used to be and the only one I've ever managed to wear out was promptly replaced. My replacement has probably 100 hours of hard use on it and I have it sitting in front of me--the contact area is shiny but there's no visible wear.

Nice conversion- what did you use for battery trays?
Also, you might want to consider making a series adapter out of 10ga wire. |
