What I said above is an educated guess. I would use a voltmeter to verify each wire. Just be careful not to let the probes touch because "bad" stuff will happen.

If there is indeed an extra wire that either does not go anywhere, or is doubled up, you can cut it fairly close to the pack, fold it over, heatshrink it, and tuck it away somehow. Just be sure before you do this.

Yes i check the extra wire with a volt meter and it reads 0.0 volts,the plug has
six slots and six wires,i tryed to change the plug with a hyperion tap but the end of
the plug wires on the evo pack are to small.Do i need to change the plug end to
fit the hyperion tap,or do i buy a different tap plug?
