So i think i am going to give these Turnigy packs a try, $42 for 3s 5000mah... can't beat that man.

Has anyone found any other better deals?

The one thing that is really at the front of my thinkin kinda train is the cycle life on these, maybe they have made a chemistry that is powerful but last as good as pealed banana.

Has someone bought some of these Turnigy packs yet? If so, maybe i'll wait till you get them and if you happen to have an eagletree, post some results? Although, the stock number is going down a good amount everyday, so i don't know.

pealed banana, OUCH! i think an emergency room visit would be in order.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

Hobby King doesn't claim that their Turnigy lipos are the best. They don't claim that they are made of cells that will be as good as new after 500 cycles. They just say that the Turnigys are made of very good cells at the best price possible. It seems they have a pretty honest approach about this product they're selling.
A lot believe that you get what you pay for regarding lipos. In some cases that is very true. I don't have a lot of experience in this brushless hobby but what I have also noticed is that in some cases, you do pay a lot more for a little less. And in other cases you pay a lot less for a little more. Feel free to match lipo brands to either of these three categories Anyway, I am waiting for 4 of their 2S1P 5000 mah Turnigys to come in.

No brain, no headaches.

Oh for sure I want a unit that balances the packs as I charge, i forgot to mention that. I would charge two 3s packs at once using my BK Precision power supply (0-20volts/0-10amps, CC-CV), then have each pack on it's own charge through balancer.

The flightpower balancers are exactly what I would like, but I just want to know if there is anything cheaper...

thanks
