You make a good point, but the braking wasn't good even before I removed the front driveshafts, so I guess it went from bad to worse. :-)

All the local guys have been beating their E-Revo VXL's up pretty good at the track and nothing has broken on theirs so far. I'll give it another shot when the new parts get here.
