1400 kv is all you need for 6s. A 1512 2Y is perfect. Anything more will just take away from runtime. For 4s go with the 2.5D (2050) or 1.5Y (1900) on tight tracks. My 2650 is way to much for any track no matter how it is geared. Geared 11/46 in my 8ight, its exactly the same speed as nitro, but it still eats through packs like no other. I could gear up to a 14 tooth and get the same runtime and temps, but my fingure would be stuck between 0 and 1/2 throttle and the esc would heat up A LOT.
