the point everyoine is making is, get a tem gauge. they only cost about $20 and everyone who runs electric should own one.

that being said, if you did overheat it, Arct1k said it best. it'll heat up very very quickly and you'll notice a drop off in speed, and if it's damaged much more than that it'll start cogging as well.
+1. The Medusa in my Muggy was very hot last time I ran it, I pulled my DuraTrax Flashpoint (about $20 on Tower Hobbies) and it read 158 degrees which is the point where I stop running electrics (they're technically OK to higher temps but I'm obsessive about not smoking $150 being stupid).


All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.
