You don't need adapters. The Rampge axles are the same diameter at Baja axles. You just need to buy (4) Baja rear hexes. I'm running the Dark Soul extended rears.
i know the brakes can fit. its being able to mount them that is the issue. the AMS brakes have 2 screws that mount right up to the hubs/spindles....at least that is what it looks like in pics that i can see. with the rampage there just isnt anywhere to mount the calipers without doing some custom work.

idk for sure without seeing all the parts in person what i could do though. do you have a 5b also? or just the rampage.

btw, check out all these parts i picked up on ebay from the same guy selling that 5b brushless i posted. i will end up selling alot of it but there were some items that i wanted that i havent been able to find anywhere on the 1/5 sites.

Just my Rampage.

You deffinately got a lot of nice parts with that.

You can use a piece of 5/32 drill bit as a temp dog bone pin...fits nearly perfect.

so here is some work from today.

installed stainless screw kit.
a few aluminum hop ups.
hpi aluminum nuts
made carbon front top plate
installed MT front bumper. i know its a truggy but this thing needs more protection than a small buggy bumper.
bad horsie shock covers

upcoming:

installing HPI baja swaybar kit
carbon rear top deck large enough to mount speed control on
mount battery trays
custom mud guards

I like the front CF brace you made.

You can wire brush that copper color off of the rar hub carriers if you don't like it. I did that to come of my copper stuff.

The stock shock shafts are very thin and bend easily. I am running the Baja front VVC heavy safts. They are a little long but you can take that extra lenght up with some tubing under the piston.

that was the main reason i bought that parts lot on ebay. it has a set of shocks with the 6mm phatdad shafts already on them. i will just end up using those. i did also already buy a set of front VVC shocks though that i was gonna use but then found that i couldnt really mount them up. if you switch the shaft do you need to switch the parts at the bottom of the shock case that provide the seal around the shaft?

hey kaz,
do you know if the baja 5t body fits well on the rampage? i love the 5t body and it looks a lot more like a truggy body but i dont want to drop $180 if it doesnt fit very well. mainly i want the sides of the body to extend at least down to the chassis. i have my body posts lowered all the way and the rampage MT shell comes down all the way. just wondering if you have tried the 5t body?

btw, the 2215 can handle 12s i believe but that pretty much maxes out the rpm capability if i recall. anyway, i will be running 10s and just use gearing to get the desired speed. i used the rc calc just the other day and it estimated this thing at around 60mph with what i put in. that will be insane. i am thinking its gonna be in the 50mph range. which is fine by me. my buggy does 55mph and it is so insane already. i cant imagine this huge beast doing more than that.
