167*F on the esc is rather hot, shouldnt be exceding about 140-150 ideally, but it depends on the conditions and ambient temps etc.
Motor shouldnt excede 180*F.

that was without the fan and the top cut off of the monster, it will thermal before it goes to toast i hope niel
i noticed with the top on and you temp it you get 30 degrees or so cooler, this temp was right on top of the heatsink, i put a little 25mm fan on it now and it runs 150/150 as long as i run it for
