A pair of needle nose pliers works great for the male ends, use one side to just bite onto the tab and the other end on the backside of the casing, squeeze and they come apart pretty easy. For the females I place them on the edge of a block of wood and push the tab out with a screwdriver. I have taken apart at least 50 of these, they work over and over again without a problem
