Do you have any other packs you can compare with?

NEU NEU NEU!! These are the best packs I've used. I have owned maxamps, and FP. Neu packs are the only ones that I've used that seem to have every bit of burst all the way down to the end of the run. I love my Neu lipos!

I believe the Flightpowers are spec'd EVO25 and EVO30 and the new ones are EON28 and EON33.

I have a pair of 3S 3700mah EVO25's and a pair of 2S and a pair of 3S of 4500mah EVO30's and they are all excellent packs. Tons of power right until the end. Breaks all 4 wheels of my G2R loose even going a solid 20mph...

The only other packs I used were some Maxamps 8K's and those did not compare at all...

FP EONs are Enerland cells, which quickly faded out, replaced by Chinese made EON-X series.

All major pack brands are now using Chinese cells, except PolyQuest of Enerland. Kokam still has some OEM relationships with certain packs but mainly sold in Europe.

Yeah, I mentioned that a few posts back. A123 bought out Enerland and Polyquest is the exclusive Enerland cell packs now.

I think if FP is going to the new Chinese cells, then they must be good.

I just got (2) 2s Hyperion G3 VX 5500 35C's in. Pack quality and construction is way above Par! It comes with nice thick 10 gauge leads. The pack is super tight. I'll get some Deans soldered on tomorrow and get them a good thrashing with the Summit. I know its not an amp hog but these should wake the beast up.

Sounds good. I think I may have to pick up some of these HP packs.

They are super tight aren't they, that's what I noticed as well compared to my other Enerland HP packs... the G3's feel like a brick.

You won't be disappointed with them that's for sure, but you are going to want to try them in something much more power hungry. As far as I can see, they are very very close to the performance of the TP 40C packs, based on reports and graphs of a very good reviewer (everydayflyer) on RC-Groups forum, testimonials, and my own experience with them.

Yes they do feel like a brick. Some seriously tight construction and tight heat-shrink. Those cells are not shifting at all.

I'll throw them in my Whiplash 20 hydro boat. I don't think I can get much more power hungry than that.
