I run receiver packs that come stock with the revo. they are 6.0 volt and I think 1100mah.

Any receiver pack will work, just pick something in the style that will best suit the place you want to put it. (ie hump pack, flat etc etc) and get the highest capacity you can, or possibly if you can get them cheap enough by a couple of them. yes they work with the stock receiver, just plug it into the "BEC" slot.
