That all good, and thanks. what im looking for is do i just wire the PSU straight to the Charger with the 12v rail? + to + - to - ??

You could also find a cheap (but decent quality) 12v lead acid charger, along with a 12v lead acid battery and use that as your power supply. That way you can even do a few charges when you don't even have power, like if you go out the texas chainsaw massacre site to run your R/C?

The battery can even be an old battery that was deemed unworthy for auto starting anymore.
