Try to find something at an industrial bearing supply store. They will usually stock a bearing retaining compound or something for worn shafts. You need something that is reletivly thin and has a high shear strength. If you look at the specs try to match them. Industrial places carry this stuff for sure. Don't know what kind of stores you have there in the UK, but a regular retail store jsut cateres to the average Joe, and this is something that is a little more specalized.

Try searching for Applied industrial, Motion industries there I am pretty sure there are some in the UK.
