I can vouch for the XT8 being strong, the only thing I'd upgrade are the rear hub carriers. Then you'll have a rock-solid car that is quick around the track too.
I didn't find the Losi too durable, and the plastics develop slop very quickly. The MBX5-T is much like the XT8, and is very durable, and still pretty fast round a track. I haven't had much experience of the RC8T, but Mike does sell a full conversion for it. Personal favourite is the XT8, but the MBX5-T or RC8-T would be good too. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. |
