which motor for my 8ight t

i feel the speed isnt there running 12/49 in my 8ight t. seems really slow compared to my buggy. Maybe it is just that it is a truggy compared to a buggy. The buggy i have geared with a 17 tooth pinion. And it is just plain outright fast.

The truggy seems slugish on top end. Like i am only getting maybe 25 mph not enough for my taste on straight aways. I am going to play with gearing once i get it back together hit the edge of a curb and broke some stuff. Oppps.
