Spin the tire/wheel just a little bit and when it stops, place counterweights directly opposite of where the bottom of the wheel stops in small 2-3 gram increments until it starts landing on random spots. For my balancing station, I took an entire rear axle off my Mutilator and duct taped it to my work bench. The better the axle bearings, the more accurate of a balance you will get. You could also simply remove a dogbone and place your wheel/tire on the rear axle, tighten it up with the hex nut and balance away-assuming you aren't running cvd's
