As for the same user(s) having repeated failures, in the early days Castle went as far to get people to send in their entire setup, to see if they could replicate the failures in there workshop/lab. Hard to remember what the outcome was overall, but alot of it was put down to setup/ driving style combined with the slightly flakey V1 and V2 BECs...

These days, seeing the same people kill several V3s one after the other isnt just a coincidence, nor is it a sign that the MMM is still unreliable- I'd put it down to a problem, with the setup, even if that does sound like Im brown nosing Castle....

Dont forget too, that people with problems will post up their failures alot more than people who have no issues as all.

There is some interesting info to be found about failures and reasons if you dig deep enough- 30% failure rate on some old components that have since been switched for better qulaity ones for example. In another thread, Patrick goes as far to state the exact number of failures on the different versions- somewhere in the ~500-800 region for the V1 and V2, though the exact details escape my memory at present; many people sent in perfectly working V1s and V2s to upgrade to the V3 for free, but IM still rocking and original V1 that has been through hell- even the fan still works fine!
