I put a CC2650 in my Revo on 4S and it booked along nicely. Not quite a wheelie prone as a 1515, but temps stayed good.

I would say yes assuming you don't have a heavy all alloy maxx. 9lbs max or so and you should be ok. 1515 is a safer bet tho.
