I installed the LST diffs and are using trx steel shafts. So no problems in that area. Even if that wasn't the case I wouldn't worry too much about any added stress to the system. The Terapins are pretty light. The last time I weighed tires I think one tire was only 11oz. I have a set of badland MT tires also and they were around the same weight if not a little more. I remember the 40s moabs were like twice that amount in weight though. You'd want to watch you temps becuase the tires size will change your rollout. The added stress on the differential is usually due to heavy tires and/or better traction that 40s give you. These are light and my badlands have better grip then these do. These have decent traction but the best part is the bounce you get. Like Chris said though.....
