I was gonna say, when you say 'eqivalent motor', did you mean just a normal black cc2200kv traxxas version, but then I realised that the castle made motors (for traxxas and hpi) dont have wrapped rotors...

HiMark? Nice looking ripoff at best- shame its in China as Castle cant persue copyright infringement. Worrying really as there is a knockoff MMpro/ MMM type esc doing the rounds too (link to a site selling them in Germany floating around here some place..).

Stick with known brands that, if not great (feigao), are atleast predictable and easy to get to work in a certain application (by gearing down & adding a heatsink/clamp etc)...

What motor would you suggest I buy for my application? I have no clue when it comes to this stuff, and what gearing would you suggest? Is the battery ok to use or should i go with a different one?

Sorry Neil,

The Castle made motors have Kevlar wrapped rotors.
