Given my testing with the "roar" legal junk, they are not worth a crap with a decent load. I tired a 13.5 novak on 3s lipo in a pede and unless i geared it for 30mph it would overheat very quickly. Maybe 4s would be better, but I still doubt the 380 S size internals are capable of much. Now the 13.5 is in my cr01 crawler on 2s, geared for 13mph. Works fine with that load.

I have not been very impressed with the 2 pole slotless motors from novak. I put them on par with the feigao 380c motors, and almost have to give the nod to the feigao. No comparison to a 540 S can, and certainly nothing compared to a 1506.

Hopefully CC will come out with a properly designed motor to go with the MMPro in a bunch of winds. I have read plenty about the novak 2 pole motors, and most in the know do not think much of them. Only reason they are popular is cause of Roar.

I do run a 3.5/GTB setup in my tamiya M03 fwd car. Pretty pathetic if you consider the fact a M03 chassis weighs next to nothing and this is not really overpowered (not like a 1521 on 6s in an lst). I guess for racing power is not all that necessary... But this is the most powerful setup novak sells, and I have it in a tiny, light car geared for 55mph, and it is still not very impressive.
