That's what I was thinking. Some guy was trying to get a 2" wider set put together as a group buy.

Plus its not 4x4. HPI made a 4wd 1/5th scale, but they even made if off the savage. Not for US tho :(

I've got the standard flm wide arms on my savvy (.5 inch per side, 1 inch total) with the extended low cog chassis and it is awesome! Big and stable. Of course 2 inches would be even better, but the 1 inchers really made the savvy a whole new truck. They are strong too.

I ended up getting one... I've been debating about whether to convert my nitro Savage XL into brushless to join my RC8Te; and well going 5th scale with my RC8Te is a bit more than I want to pay for to get custom chassis done so it's on hold til I get better machining skills myself and can do it. So I'm anxious to see what the kit is like.

RC Universe has a post by a guy who put Jammin' X2 arms on his Savage, looks from the pictures like they match up pretty well. Thinking about looking into this myself. Downside is that you are stuck with a 17mm hub unless you get a custom one made (same issue with the RC8Te I have) where as with Savage you can get Pro-lines 23mm hub and with a bit of shimming it works.
