- The LHS and RCMonster Mike know who you are by the sound of your voice when you call.

- You drive close to 6 hours total to spend 1/2-3/4 hour touring an R/C manufacturing facility.

- You think of many non-RC applications in which to use a BL motor, ESC, servos, etc.

- You have no cash, but have at least 3 projects planned.

- Even though you know they suck, you still walk through the R/C aisle at Wal-Mart.

- You have shelving units/storage/workareas specifically designed for R/C vehicles.

- When your home insurance agent asks you if you have any other insurance needs, and you ask him if $20k worth of R/Cs would be covered. And then have to increase coverage so will be.

- When R/C related sites are the first places you go when you get on the computer the first time each day....even at work.

Personally, it would probably be easier to slap a Wal-Mart body on a "real" R/C. Probably would get a few snickers at the track until they see it run.

a few apply to me, but here are some originals

when you drive your 1/1 like an RC

when you break out at least once a night on something stupid(RC related) someone says at the track.

people buy what you buy, not what won the last race, because they know that you've done hours of research on it

you want to paint your 1/1 like your RC

you have a netbook with loaded with a manual/partslist/exploded view for just about every RC made

you've never owen a GTB but everyone at the track has you program their's for them...(50% throttle of course)

you've bought/sold 20+ RCs within the past 2 years trying to find something you like

God, I hope not! If I did that, my car would spend more time in the shop than on the road.

Just like a real R/C

-when you bought a netbook just to run castle link
-when you are lucky enough to have a gf that likes r/c
-when you get half of your street into r/c
-when you drive an hour to a lhs just for a $7 part
-when you drive around with an r/c in the trunk just in case you find a cool bash spot
-when you have r/cs hanging in your bedroom
