well, Dan at Kershaw could have had an outside firm do the windings, or he could have had a stronger or more reliable rotor built. But he didn't. As we all expected it's a dressed up feigao. His response to my query about his specs:
"In all honesty, the Feigao 580L and KD motors work on the same technology, but the KD motors have a screw on endbell as opposed to the endbell being press fit into place. If you can fill me in on the specs below for your car, I can make a recommendation on the gearing that should be sued. then your motor should last multiple RC seasons... - Model of car - Weight - tires used Should I add you to the list for those that get the email newsletter I send out?
