Yeah - I just wanted to verify. Like I said - almost every one of the situations like this that I have seen have been on a single pack set up.

hv update - 01.27.2010, 01:43 AM

first thanks to all the contributors i do thank you.To answer the # of packs i am running 2sx2=4s.So i went to the track and ran tree packs, the new glitch buster was a partial sucsess in that it allowed me to get 5 or 6 min of run time before it would " lipo cut off".In the first recharge the packs were only accepting 2800/2900ma on the first run and then i had to gear down because the pinion failed and the temps were 156mtr ,151esc, 97 batts. The next two runs the batts only accepted 2200ma and the temps came way down to mtr 131,esc117,batts85 and the pop, speed and run time till it quit were about the same so it seems to like the 9/62 gear.i dont want to run an external BEC, i have one but last time i ran one it caused a cogg and Bob novak himself had no answers so i think the next thing i want to try is pull the red wire from the signal harness and try an rx pack.I think its quiting when the 4s packs have dicharged to a point they cant supply enough amps too the rx and servo or the BEC is overheating either way it should be the ticket unless you know this to be incorect.I do hate hanging bandaids off my stuff Butt $ are pretty short

We tried the Rx pack and it didn't exactly help. His would do the shut off thing all the time, then after putting on the Rx pack, it would run for 5 minutes then hit the LVC. If you do it, be sure to read the latest instructions (they have them on the website), as there is an arming process needed with the on-off switches.

more on myhv problems - 01.28.2010, 12:16 AM

first of all apparently my biggest problem with the HV is that i own two of these turds! I called the tech line today and as usual they were polite and realy tried to be helpfull but didnt realy have any cures for my ills.they suggested undoing the red signal wire and see if that helped, it didnt initialize, then i left the red wire off and rigged the rx pack turned on the tx,plugged in the rx pack and flipped the switch and it fired right up and ran for about 3min.its a shame cause ive had such great luck with my GT7, four plus years and then on too brushless for over two year with a GTB and never had any probs with them.Im done and thanks again for the ideas
