Thanks:D Got a friend to pick some traxxas bearings up for me, cause i need them before sunday... but will take a look at the links:D
Thanks:D everyone here is so kind
Found out why the bearing was smashed... the hole in the motor mount /center diff mount was too small, so i had to push it very hard in. and took me 1 hour to get it out

Just got mine together today. Man it's a nice setup. Mike did a great job with it. Only thing I really modified was the tray. I cut a notch in it for my battery wires so I could lay the battery flat and dremeled a "tunnel" under it to run the wire going from the ESC to the RX. Personal preference there but I think it turned out nice

I just read this whole thread last night. Looks like a awesome little car
But I remember talk about rollers on ebay for cheap. The only ones on there now are for like 225 bucks, were there cheaper ones?

It seemed like people were making out pretty well by buying the RTR and selling off the nitro stuff and DX3S system. Depends if you want to put up the money and deal with selling the stuff.

So far I've been on the track about five time's. Truggy has been great, I mounted a set of Pro-Line 30 series Bow-Ties to the Losi wheels for this truck and it made it steer so much better. First broken part today though, one of the front cvd's right where the pin fastens it to the axle. Not sure if it's a week point or I tapped a pipe wrong. Bad part is they are $18.99 at A-Main, hopefully it is a one time thing and not a constant ocurence.

I can't wait to get one and convert it to brushless. I am going to install a crazy-powerfull BL system in it and turn it into a rocket-ship, just stupid-fast!

Had my Ten-T out with MMM 2650, 4s 30c 5000 turnigy and 26t pinion... Also mounted a set of badlands on some JC wheels. The truck is simply too fast. The motor, speed control and battery aren't hot, or really all that warm, but the truck flies. I would almost say it's overkill as there's no instance today that I wanted to use all of the top end speed.
I think I just may switch to a much smaller pinion :)

You can't really reduce the speed with the CastleLink. You can control the punch, and adjust the throttle curve, but that just changes the way it gets up to speed, the top speed will remain the same. The only way to truly reduce speed is to drop the gearing down, use a lower kv motor, or reduce the voltage. I guess you could adjust the endpoint on your radio, but the previously mentioned methods are much better choices.

I would suggest a lower Kv motor. The 1900kv sounds to be the right wind for 4s running.

I have so far broken 1 rim and 4 center diff bearings:@ and abit of the body (not that bad)
95ROLR do you have some pics with the bandlands? And is it the MT or buggy badlands?

Everything went together smooth when i converted mine. The only thing i have broken so far is a rear plastic hub.Big jumps and cartwheels tend to do that.
