If it is just a software update, Can it be used on any ice esc? or, will it be limited to the 200 amp and or the 160 amp? I like the design and would like to run them in smaller scales (1/10 to 1/16) thanks.
IF (and that's a big IF) we find that we can use the Mamba software without any hardware changes on the ICE hardware, then yes, it will only be a download, and it will work on either the ICE or ICE-HV. The ICE will likely be limited to 6S, and the ICE-HV to 10S for car use (due to braking energy...)

Thanks Patrick, 6S is all i need for smaller sizes. I'm honestly more intrested in the data logging setup. 8S or 10S would be intresting with my 2250/11turn lehner (1184kv)
Work because i gotta, play because i wanna
People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

I just bought a pro boat 1/8 hydro hull. http://cgi.ebay.com/1-8-scale-Miss-E...item335a10885a . That i plan on converting to electric. I understand your coming out with the ice HV controller . Are you coming out with a boat version of this controller ?. I was looking at the hydra 180 for this conversion because it can handle up to 180 amp's & 12s. which is good because i only plan on running 10s. But the price is making me a little hesitent. I would rather buy american & not go the chinese rout . If you are making a boat version of the ice HV . Will it be more in line price wise with the hydra line of controllers our more towards the chinese controllers ?. Thank's
Another crappy week without a HV MMM . Guess I will carve my own out of butter.....wonder how many amps it will support. If not at least it will taste good on some bread

I wish the weather was better here. I would be at the park now driving my 8S beast , before getting my daughter from school.

Castle is releasing the ICE HV. Patrick did state that they just approve the Hydra version after the cooling plates were approve good to go. This should be the new supreme boating controller. HV, high amp capacity, data logging, and other features. The price will hopefully be around the same, thus making it a better bang for the buck versus the Hydra HV controllers.
