The cc 2200 and MMM combo startup very well. The resolution of your controller will determine some of that, as will the control accuracry your finger has. You can dial in some neg expo and smooth out the startup more if you have a radio with that feature. It is a pretty good combo for smoothness. A sensored setup is smoother, but not much and I use cc escs with outrunners in my crawlers and have never had a startup issue.

sounds like regardless of the ideas I get it all comes down to one thing... just buy the MMM/2200 combo lol.

Linc or anyone else know if you buy a second hand combo and it fries will CC warranty it? (or is it the pay to replace warranty only since you could not prove purchase date)?
