I picked it up for 100 also. It came with the 2.4 dx2 which I gave to my brother. It was a nitro roller. I let the guy keep the motor and servos.
I will be running it on the local indoor track here soon so I will let you know if it handles better than the Caster, buy the looks of it I will have to say it most certainly will. Correct most of the 8ights hardware is standard not metric. Pictures as requested.
