speedy i think u had a good thing going, the outerwear woud have been fine as long as it keeps the snow and water out of the esc, plastic dip is most likely worse at dissipating heat then the mesh cover. ive heard of people running their truggys with a shower cap over the whole frame worked great and no overheating problems, but after all it is cold ouside ill buy it off you for 10 shipped
