i have an airtronics fm radio and except for the typical fm glitching, i love it. that radio is a good deal.

if you want to spend even less, the $25 radio from hobbycity is great. i have one and run all 4 of my rc's with it and have never had one glitch. i have taken my extended savage with a bright orange body as far as i can see it and still had perfect control. also, my local track is right under some huge powerlines and people constantly complain about their radios glitching there. mine hasn't had one hiccup. the only downsides to the hobbycity radio are it is 2ch and it doesn't have many programming options. in my experience, you really don't need anything more than steering and throttle trim with those huge 1/5 scales anyway.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.
