That about sums it up. I also consider that maybe they go out of their way to some extent, to be as controversial as possible to buy themselves time.

The "compliance at gunpoint" is as Soviet as it gets, many of us have seen this coming for many years. So maybe the natural progression of any 'great' superpower is to be swallowed whole by it's own government. I seem to vaguely recall other societies this may have happened to ??

It really has nothing to do with "health care" it's all about wealth redistribution and nothing else! That has been this administrations agenda from the get go. It's a slap in the face to every working American. Next will come the SS enforcers to instill fear and compliance.
