Got another question for you guys:
For what speed should a SC truck be geared?
Somewhere I read 40mph is that about right or too slow?

JoFreak, it really depends on the type of track you run on. Is it long and wide open or short and tight. The track I run on is on the small size and pretty technical so I have my SCRT10 geared to do about 30mph. 40mph is pretty fast on a dirt track, that would be more for a longer track.
