You've probably got too much free rotation of the input before it engages the gears. I don't think I have ever sheared a pin - but I'm also not going to claim that I know what I'm doing when shimming! Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES
