Working on that one, too - I will updat some of the 1/8 mounts to the new style, but a slightly modified version to allow M4 or m3 screws to be used. :)

The inside dimesnions are 168mm x 55mm for the battery compartment.

Battery tray is HUGE!. Mike as a possible addon. Make some sort of L bracket that fits in the battery tray with adjustable placement to accomodate smaller packs better. my 4s 4100mah pack is Swimming in the tray.

Mike how do you have the wiring exiting your packs.. mine hits the side of the trays. Might shave it down a bit.

Other points worth noting.

- Need to shave down a small bit of the servo tray, the raised motor mount changes the front driveshaft angle and it runs into the tray.. a bench grinder fixed it in about 30 seconds.

-Wire channel under the Battery tray would be nice. i ran my wires under the lip of the tray and across where the battery strap sits.. a little channel would be great and simple to impliment.

-Brass Inserts are great! Self locking, you can really crank down on them without worrying about stripping them out.

Ill report back later today after i give her a good shakedown run

I knew I should've checked the store before I bought my 8t 2.0. I hate to be one of those impatient people constantly badgering you for a release date, so hurry so I don't have to!!! :-) Out of curiousity though, how big of a spur gear can the mount fit? Stock Losi 8t 2.0 is 50t, will I need to go to a smaller spur?

Well, in the e-8 conversions, the differential gets spun around 180 degrees. Anything larger that a 45T spur will need some grinding on the chassis or a slot cut for the gear to clear. This is the case unless Mike's new mount will provide a spacer/riser for the differential.
