1) All servos do this. I think it sounds quite cool actually....
2) Once/if you upgrade your chassis you won't get this problem anymore. The stock chassis is just too flimsy and will twist with the torque of a poweful servo.
3) I had this problem with my servo (bluebird 630-MG/xtreme brushless carbon fibre chassis), but like in your case, my servo still fit in. I've had no problem with it after 30+ runs.

btw. if you've never run brushless before, you'll love the 8XL! And even if you have, you'll still love it!
