What other body fits the Ten-T - 05.31.2010, 06:11 PM

Has anyone found any other bodies that fit the ten t?
I bought mine as a roller w/o a body.
I would prefer something tough like the jconcepts stuff. Considered a buggy body but not sure it offers enough protection. If limited to the stock body how are they holding up?

Also what is the best way to convert to 17mm. Looked at the traxxas ones but did not want to grind the spacer part off. Gets to close to the hub IMO. I've seen the FLM ones but don't like the way they stick out.
Thanks for any help.

Actually the losi bodies are pretty strong. As far as the wheel hexs the traxxas ones seem to be the easiest way to convert to 17mm.

M2C Racing makes a 17mm Adapter Kit for the Ten-T. I cant vouch for them as I just used the Traxxas ones.

If you like the Buggy bodies some guys on the Losi forum have been modding the 8ight-E body to fit the Ten-t.

Yeah I have them now. Work great, bolt right on. However, like most I am guessing, I was concerned about how they narrow the vehicle so much with buggy wheels on. So he came back and said that he is deigning new ones to keep the stock width but wont be done for a few weeks.

I love my Ten-T but unfortunately have no one to run against around here... Anyone interested in buying or trading for a 1/8th truggy of some sort?

I used the Revo 17mm hexes and made the mistake of grinding down too much on the back without test fitting between grinding. Luckily I had a couple extra 17mm hanging around from some parts lot I got (god knows when?) in the past.
